Our Groups are home-based groups that bring adults together outside of the normal Sunday morning church environment. They exist to help people help you experience Greater Community through meaningful, Christ-centered relationships. You’ll be encouraged to live out the Truths you discover in the Bible as you encourage others to do the same. Our strategy to help facilitate those relationships is the use of small groups; specifically Community Groups, Starter Groups, & Short Term Groups.
Community Groups are small groups comprised of six to eight individuals or five to six married couples that meet together regularly for fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and accountability. They are closed groups that commit to meet together for 12 to 24 months.
Starter Groups are ones that have agreed to meet together for eight weeks to get to know each other, do a relational curriculum, and at the end of that time determine whether they want to stay together for a total of twelve to twenty-four months as a Community Group.
Short-Term Groups are like Community Groups, but they meet weekly for a short term to explore one topic. Some of our groups are in a large group format at the church, while others meet in homes. Short-Term Groups offer the opportunity to explore a topic with a group of people that share a common goal so they can grow together in life-changing ways.
GroupLink is a two-hour event where individuals or couples can meet people in a similar stage of life and area of town with the goal of forming a Starter Group. When someone registers for GroupLink, they’ll be matched with an initial connection group comprised of people who have similar group preferences. If the logistics of this group do not work for the individual, volunteers will help them find a different group. We don't assign individuals to a group. You come to GroupLink to meet others and decide which group you would like to join.
